Walmart Health
Walmart is committed to making healthcare more accessible, convenient, and affordable for customers in the communities we serve. To expand on this commitment, Walmart Health was launched in 2019 to provide key health center services for local customers with transparent pricing, regardless of insurance status.
The patient is at the heart of all we do at Walmart Health. Walmart Health delivers primary and urgent care, labs, x-ray and diagnostics, behavioral health, dental, optometry and hearing services all in one facility, right next door to where you get groceries.
In 2021, Walmart Health acquired a telehealth company, expanding into virtual services, which allows us to offer accessible, convenient care to more patients when and how they want it.
Walmart Health started its journey by opening its first center in Dallas, Georgia. Since that first Walmart Health center, we’ve opened more than 25 new centers across Georgia, Arkansas, Illinois, and Florida.
We think we can make an impactful difference in affordability, convenience and, most importantly, accessibility for these communities. We look forward to expanding Walmart Health into other communities we serve through in-person or virtual services.
