Introducing the Annual Training Calendar for Ethics and Compliance

In an effort to simplify and streamline training, this year, we are piloting an annual calendar for required Ethics & Compliance learning. This means that all U.S.-based corporate associates will receive their refresher training assignments at the same time, with each month featuring a different topic(s).

To synchronize timing, you may be required to repeat training you have recently completed. Associates who joined the company before Nov. 1, 2023, will have a Code of Conduct training assignment this month to stay consistent.

Why are we switching to a new calendar?

An annual calendar allows for a more consistent training schedule and helps associates complete necessary training on time. This can help associates understand how to practice behaviors that reflect our core values – a key to the Live Our Values pillar in the Leadership Expectations.

When will training assignments launch?

While some courses impact all Campus associates, others are targeted by role and location.  Associates can expect the following learning:

  • May: Code of Conduct content
  • June: Discrimination and harassment prevention content
  • July: Digital Citizenship / Information Security content
  • August: Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, and Antitrust content
  • September: Economic Trade and Sanctions content

Action:

  • Review the updated annual training calendar, and complete learning in a timely manner.
  • If you have recently completed training, and are asked to repeat it again, please do so as this is due to the updated timing in line with the annual calendar.
  • If you manage people, you can track team progress on your Learning Reporting dashboard:
    • Navigate to wmlink/learningreporting.
    • Scroll to the Team Training Dashboard – Corporate and click to open.
    • Check your Team Learning Scoreboard to see completion and compliance rates for your total team. Directly below you’ll find the same metrics for your direct reports. Please note: You will need to be on VPN to view.
    • You can also use the Me@Campus app to view both your assigned training and your team’s. Simply go to Me > Learning.
  • If you have any questions, email ECTAhelp@email.wal-mart.com.

Thank you for helping us to drive awareness and drive a culture of integrity.
